Summary This position is seasonal with projected start date in April 2024. THOSE ATTENDING MUST REGISTER HERE AND BRING THEIR SOCIAL SECURITY CARD, PHOTO ID, WORK AUTHORIZATION (AGES 14-17) AND PROOF OF EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS. BE PREPARED TO INTERVIEW! Responsibilities Performs a variety of tasks having several steps or a sequence of tasks that requires attention to work operations in a kitchen or dining area following established procedures. Sets up cafeteria lines, steam-tables, dining room tables, and side service stands with hot and cold food items including meats, vegetables, salads, desserts, bread, butter, and beverages; replenishes as necessary. Operates, break downs, and cleans all equipment assigned to the area for food preparation. Clean kitchen equipment such as worktables, sinks and refrigerators. Scrapes, soaks, scours, and scrubs heavy cooking utensils such as mixing bowls or pots. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications 1. Ability to understand and follow simple instructions. 2. Ability to use hand tools for cleaning and operating simple machines. This position is a Flexible (Flex) position and there are 0 guaranteed hours per week. Flex employees are not entitled to leave or benefits however, there is no upper limit to the number of hours a flexible employee may work (subject to overtime obligation and work scheduling requirements). FWS Allowances and Differentials This is a federal wage schedule (FWS) position. All FWS employees are entitled to overtime work for work in excess of 8 hours in a day or in excess of 40 hours in the administrative workweek, whichever provides the greater benefit to the employee. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Non-Foreign Overseas Allowances Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
