We are looking for a Lead Procurement Specialis t to drive strategic sourcing for the Aerospace gears commodity group. This is your opportunity to manage a $45M spend, negotiate key supplier contracts, and build long-lasting relationships at the executive level – all while contributing to a critical, mission-driven industry.
About the Role:
As a Lead Procurement Specialis t , you will be at the heart of our supply chain operations, responsible for executing sourcing strategies that support a challenging Annual Operating Plan and drive productivity savings across a network of 15 suppliers. You will play a key role in negotiating contracts, optimizing cost structures, and ensuring a seamless supply chain that meets our critical deliverables.
In this role, you will:
Develop and execute sourcing strategies for Aerospace gears to meet annual targets and optimize supplier relationships.
Negotiate supplier contracts (price, schedule, payment terms) to maximize savings, reduce costs, and ensure continuity of supply.
Cultivate strong supplier relationships at the executive level to maintain and enhance partnerships in a competitive and dynamic market.
Lead productivity initiatives , targeting a -2.9% savings goal to drive margin expansion.
Collaborate with internal teams to align business goals and deliverables while managing supplier performance.
Key Qualifications:
You Must Have:
A Bachelor’s or Graduate degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Contract Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in Subcontracts, Procurement, or Supplier Management, preferably in the Aerospace industry.
Proven track record in leading contract negotiations (pricing, terms, performance metrics, etc.).
Strong understanding of supplier performance management and procurement processes.
Experience with SAP ERP systems and data analysis.
Excellent strategic thinking and business acumen to understand and align with key business drivers.
Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with an emphasis on decision-making and conflict resolution.

Pay Details: $53.60 per hour
