U-Haul Staff Accountant in Phoenix, Arizona

Repwest Insurance Company, a wholly-owned subsidiary of U-Haul (NYSE:UHAL), is seeking a Staff Accountant! This is an entry-level role for candidates with 0-3 years of experience looking to pursue a career in corporate accounting.

Candidates will operate as part of a small team under the direction of the Financial Reporting Supervisor. The ideal candidate is competent, resourceful and has a positive attitude.

Responsibilities:

  • Recording business transactions through journal entries

  • Updating spreadsheets and documents

  • Compiling monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements

  • Interfacing with auditors, actuaries, and regulatory bodies

  • Collaborating with sister departments on ad hoc projects

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting
