This is a Field Service position covering a multi-state region centered in the Salt Lake City area. Company vehicle provided for work.
About the Role:
Full Spectrum Lab Services from CBRE offers a professional suite of services to a variety of clients in the life sciences industry, including those in pharmaceuticals, biotech, medical devices, and genomics, as well as contract research organizations (CROs) and contract manufacturing organizations (CMOs).
Our comprehensive range of services includes laboratory consulting, real estate services, instrumentation repair and maintenance, full asset management, and more—covering the entire spectrum of life sciences facilities. With expertise across various life sciences categories, CBRE is a leader in managing highly-regulated spaces within the industry.
What You’ll Do:
Repair and maintenance of equipment with emphasis on HPLC, GC, LC, and MS
Take apart, examine, clean, fix, calibrate, check, and take care of special equipment, systems, and controls.
Operate test equipment. This includes multimeters, frequency generators, and counters, galvanometers, digital logic probes, and oscilloscopes.
Troubleshoot, service or resolve problems while performing unscheduled work.
Record and report abnormal functions or out-of-tolerance conditions of equipment. If needed, start corrective action and documentation.
What You’ll Need:
OEM or 3rd party repair experience
Major electronic or mechanical repair experience on a chromatography related system
Proficiency with any of the following instrumentation/technology: Agilent/MassHunter/OpenLab, Sciex/MultiQuant, Shimadzu, Waters, Thermo
4 year degree in a related field; 2-3 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Must have appropriate license or certification where required by law.
Ability to travel up to 50% overnight.
Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
