Honeywell Sr Export Compliance Officer in Phoenix, Arizona

Develop and support comprehensive internal export controls to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies. You will support business processes for submitting and obtaining all necessary export licenses, permits, certifications, and technology release determinations. You will establish relations with appropriate government regulatory agencies and establish operational processes for assuring trade compliance. You will support the law department in investigating and resolving compliance problems, questions, or complaints.

Key Responsibilities

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

WE VALUE

  • Aptitude for compliance

  • Some experience in export compliance

  • Understanding of export regulations, including the ITAR, EAR and OFAC, is helpful

  • Ability to interpret and understand the impact of Export Control Reform

  • Strong writing skills; Experience in drafting reports, contracts, agreements, presentations

  • Experience in drafting and processing export license applications and proposed agreements

  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills a plus

  • Proactive, well-organized, highly motivated

  • Experience with MS Office
