Responsibilities Job Summary As a member of the Network Operations team, the Senior Analyst – Workforce Management & Business Operations is responsible for optimizing workforce management and business operations processes to improve the financial and operational performance and achieve strategic goals as they relate to workforce management, patient placement, staffing, patient transfers, and hospital throughput. The Senior Analyst will oversee the configuration, maintenance, and enhancement of workforce management and business operations applications, as well as providing training and support to end-users. Acts as an expert resource to provide guidance and support. Financial Reporting & Analysis: Conduct analysis and research related to current and proposed workforce management initiatives. Actively plan, develop, and implement workforce management programs and initiatives. Works collaboratively with stakeholders to develop a variety of standard, ad-hoc and customized reports. Work with large amounts of data and see through the data and analyze it to find trends and patterns, and to help make both conclusions and recommendations for future efforts. Data Display and Reporting: Develop and maintain comprehensive reports and informatics programs to support senior leadership. Monitor key performance indicators related to staffing, productivity, labor costs, and operational performance. Identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement. Presents actionable data, including retrospective analysis, forecasting and trend analysis, , labor productivity reporting to assist Management with informed decision making Collaborate with department leaders to forecast staffing needs based on patient volume, seasonal trends, and other operational factors. Develop and implement strategies to optimize workforce deployment and reduce premium pay and contract labor utilization. Provides key support to Service Line Leaders and performs ad-hoc analyses along with feasible recommendations for improvements based on interpretation of data. Communication and Collaboration: Interacts and works collaboratively to integrate, coordinate, and manage data integrity and reporting out of multiple systems. Communicates and collaborates with other departments in managing day-to-day aspects of projects, identifying resources needed and choosing the most efficient method of data extraction and analysis. Lead or participate in cross-functional projects aimed at improving operational effectiveness. Collaborates with Finance and department leaders to development department labor budgets. Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications Education Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Management, Finance, or a related field Required Experience 5 years experience in workforce analysis or management, preferably in a healthcare setting Required
