Insight Global Senior Python Engineer in Phoenix, Arizona
Job Description
A client in the Financial Services Technology industry is seeking a Senior Engineer to join its cutting-edge R&D organization. The Senior Engineer will be part of efforts to research ML/AI technologies that could eventually pilot and roll out across the greater organization. The Engineer should have experience working with the required technologies at an advanced level and be a technical resource to the rest of the team in their expertise on Python. They should have strong coding skills and have the ability to work well with others and drive initiatives to completion. They must also be aware that as an R&D team, this may not be a traditional development environment. ML/AI advancement should be an exciting topic for this individual, and any knowledge within these domains is preferred. This is a hybrid onsite position 2 days per week.

Skills and Requirements
5+ years of professional software development experience.
Proven, strong Python skills, including advanced algorithms are a must.
Experience in design/architecture of systems.
Full software development lifecycle experience.
Skilled in deploying and scaling products in public cloud.
Knowledge of Generative AI and Large Language Model inferenceis preferred, but at minimum should have knowledge in machine learning space
Experience or good knowledge in Data Science from an Engineering perspective (i.e. not as a Data Analyst or Scientist)
Passion for cutting edge technologies and excitement to be part of a Research & Development team. Knowledge of AI tools and frameworks, such as Langchain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, etc. null
