Honeywell Senior Project Management Specialist - Aerospace in Phoenix, Arizona

As a Senior Project Management Specialist here at Honeywell, you will be part of the Honeywell Engine & APU MSP (Maintenance Service Plan) team which is a $1B business within the Americas Aftermarket. The BGA Engines & APU MSP team is responsible for program management, administration, and customer service of the MSP business, working with service centers, aircraft management companies, and operators around the globe.

In this role will be responsible for the management of work scopes for very complex engine maintenance events performed at 3rd party service centers around the world. Each team member has ownership of coordinating, authorizing, and processing claims for a portfolio of Channel Partners totaling $150M-$200M per year. The primary products are TFE731, HTF7000, CFE, TPE engines and small business aviation APU’s.

You will report directly to our Director Sales and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a hybrid work schedule. Note: For the first 90 days, New Hires must be prepared to work 100% onsite M-F.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Working with technical support, when necessary, to define appropriate and cost-effective works copes for the applicable maintenance facilities via service authorizations

  • Negotiating works cope coverage, by encouraging use of used parts, approving road trips, respond to early event requests, etc., clarify/approve service bulletins

  • Ensuring compliance with current warranty, aftermarket programs, and special pricing policies

  • Reviewing and adjudicating final claims submitted for these events

  • Researching, following-up with questions and communications necessary to finalize the payment

  • Verifying all claim data is correct, ie, pricing, labor hours, program coding, account coding, event type coding

  • Support the development and review of SPGM’s, CP Guidebook, SB’s

  • Travel: up to 5% US

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 2+ years of experience in project management, preferably in the aerospace industry

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools

  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget

  • Excellent guiding and team management skills

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

  • Excellent communication and people-oriented skills

WE VALUE

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; Master's degree preferred

  • Knowledge of Engines and APUs

  • Knowledge of SAP, claims, order management, and pricing

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

  • Excellent analytical and problem solving and decision-making skills
