You are part of a team responsible for the day-to-day compliance with the policy within their domains/business units. You and your team are responsible for identifying critical data, maintaining data definitions, classifying data, supporting data sourcing / usage requests, measuring Data Quality Controls, and confirming Data Issues are remediated. You have the opportunity to partner across various business units, technology teams, and product/platform teams to define and implement the data governance strategy, supervising and leading data quality, resolving data/platform issues, and driving consistency, usability, and governance of specific product data across the enterprise.
Your Primary Responsibilities may include:
Assist with oversight and monitoring of databases and execution of processes to bring data under governance (e.g. system of record vs authorized data source definitions, policies, data integration, identifying data management roles, documenting and maintaining data definitions, etc.)
Advance data governance principles, policies, and programs for stewardship, advocacy and custodianship of data
Collaborate with data owners and users to modify or implement new repeatable and reliable businesses processes in order to implement truly effective data management
Assist with harmonizing key policies and guidelines (e.g. Data Quality, Data Definition, Data Creation. Data Sharing, Data Usage policies) with the processes vital to carry out those policies, in collaboration with multi-functional partners
Partner with legal, compliance and operational excellence to account for and uphold diverse privacy and compliance requirements across geographies. Ensure appropriate protections for data integrity, privacy, and regulatory compliance, including assurances for the validity of different potential analyses
Qualifications:
Experience in driving data management in a cross-functional and global environment
Understanding business challenges and strategies and connecting those to data and capabilities
Basic experience / knowledge of Data Governance / Data Management tools (e.g., Collibra) and concepts (metadata, lineage, data quality, etc.)
Superior communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire partners to drive collaboration and alignment
Eagerness to test, learn, fail and improve is essential
Must have a positive, collaborative leadership style with colleague and customer first attitude
Qualifications
Salary Range: $60,000.00 to $110,000.00 annually bonus benefits
