Actalent Project Manager in Phoenix, Arizona
Description:
Immediate need for a Project Manager to support ongoing projects at medical clients. The responsibilities include:
Develop a working understanding of budgets, schedules, cost accounting, invoices, contracts, change orders and other management tools.
Assume responsibility and communicate effectively with all internal and external customers.
Have general knowledge of estimating techniques, cost control and material pricing.
Read and understand engineering drawings, purchase orders, contracts, and cost coding systems.
Are familiar and comfortable with current technology.
May have more involvement in entire job cycle on selected small projects, under supervision.
Responsible for obtaining all required project permits - ensure all permits and permitted plans are saved in the appropriate project file prior to forwarding to the field.
RFIs and submittals.
Assist Superintendent and APMs with updating and maintaining project schedule.
Ensure that monthly updates are performed against the baseline schedule and are saved in the appropriate project files and distributed as required.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
MUST HAVE:
Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or equivalent work experience in a related field.
At least 3 years of experience in project management for vertical construction
Strong computer skills - experience in Primavera, Bluebeam, or Procore
Proficient in Microsoft Excel or similar platform
RFI & submittal generation and processing experience
Ability to read blueprints
NICE TO HAVE:
Experience in healthcare technology - MRI's, accelerators, etc.
