The Director of New Medicaid Business Opportunities will be responsible for leading responses to RFPs, RFIs, and other responses for that will expand our geographic presence in new markets, or expand our program presence in current markets. The position will lead and/or support all processes that support our ability to successfully respond to invitations to bid on new business, and will lead/support/coordinate the readiness review as well as the initial go-live for the business in markets new to Aetna Better Health. The position will also support operational initiatives - including standardization of processes and implementation of new procedures - across all Aetna Better Health Pharmacy Programs.


In-depth knowledge and experience in managed care / managed pharmacy / competitive environment.

5+ years administrative experience.

2+ years of Aetna pharmacy experience desired, but not required

Completion of a Managed Care Residency Program desired, but not required


The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Doctor of Pharmacy.


Pharmacy/Registered Pharmacist (RPh) is required

Pharmacy/Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP) is desired
