Tutor Doctor Onsite Elementary Tutor in Phoenix, Arizona
Job Description: Tutor Doctor has a relationship with a local charter school in North Phoenix (85023) and we are in need of 6-10 onsite tutors to help 2 to 5 days per week between 3-4:15 pm through November 14, 2024 and potentially the full school year. The focus is ELA and math for grades 1-8. Requirements: * Elementary teaching or tutoring experience * Must have a Fingerprint Clearance Card (or apply for one along with a clear Level 1 Background Check) * Bachelor's degree or higher Contract specifics: * This position is 1099 Independent Contractor * Pay: $45/hour ($15 per student) * Hours: 3-4 pm up to 5 days per week * Groups of 3 students * Duration: Late September through at least November 14 (likely through the 2024-25 school year) Note: Other positions are available Students need a support system, especially if they’re struggling in the conventional classroom setting or even struggle with homeschooling.
