ICF Consulting Group, Inc. O365 & Data Integration Developer in Phoenix, Arizona

This position will manage data integration activities between systems across the ICF enterprise and with external service providers. A successful candidate will provide technical expertise in developing integration solutions that efficiently transfer and transform data as necessary to meet business objectives. This is a position within the Corporate IT team and requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.

To be successful in this role, the candidate will need extensive knowledge of the Microsoft SQL Server environment and O365/SharePoint solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Development and Implementation of solutions for Collaboration portals, Enterprise Content Management, Workflows and Enterprise Search.

  • Provide thought leadership on best practices for solution design with an understanding of Information Architecture functionality including site mapping, application integration, enterprise search, taxonomy, content classification and portal interaction on mobile platforms.

  • Exhibit an understanding of SharePoint hybrid architecture and have the ability to design, deploy and support solutions in a shared services hybrid architecture.

  • Elicit and analyze business processes and requirements from technical and non-technical teams and convert business requirements into system functionality within the O365 & .NET framework.

  • Utilize Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) design principles and common integration design patterns to gather requirements and design integrations between systems.

  • Develop integrations using T-SQL, SSIS packages, PowerShell, or other appropriate technologies. Responsible for SQL development and troubleshooting (stored procedures, functions, views, access, etc.).

  • Collaborate with team and gain consensus on standards and design integration strategies.

  • Manage interfaces and automated jobs to ensure efficiency and lead effort to migrate interfaces to current technologies.

  • Produce well-structured integration documentation to include narrative discussion on business process, data flow diagrams, data elements table, code with summary of main functions and control flow.

  • Design, develop, and implement comprehensive test and evaluation plans to ensure integrations perform efficiently and meet full requirements.

  • Lead requirements gathering, design, validation, configuration, implementation, testing, and debugging of solutions.

  • Confidently present possible solutions to audiences of various sizes and technical knowledge levels weighing pros and cons.

  • Work with the Information Security team to ensure security standards are included, applied, and maintained across all product sets within the domain.

Basic Qualifications:

  • B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent technical field required.

  • 5+ years hands-on experience developing and implementing integration solutions.

  • 5+ years hands-on experience in SharePoint Development and 2+ years of experience developing and implementing Office 365 based solutions.

  • Extensive experience working with SQL, Stored Procedures, data extraction, data transformation, and data loading.

  • Experience with Power platform and PowerShell.

  • Experience in Agile environment - Must be able to learn and apply new technologies quickly and work within a dynamic work environment.

  • Proficiency in developing search-driven solutions integrating Taxonomy Term Stores, custom content types with the ability to create custom result sources, refiners, and display templates.

  • Proven technical proficiency of Microsoft Collaboration Technologies with emphasis on developing SharePoint based solutions using web parts, master pages, page layouts, content types, workflows, and. NET technologies including C#, JavaScript, jQuery, and Restful API.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Ability to adapt to new technologies.

  • Data integration experience with business systems such as Costpoint, Workday, Dynamics.

  • Experience implementing database security controls to properly manage access to the data.

  • Working knowledge of other related database technologies such as: Oracle, Azure SQL, Big Data, and with other programming languages like Python.
