Job Contributions
Complete bio-psychosocial assessments, suicide risk assessments, and other clinical forms as required under the supervision of an independently licensed mental health professional
Provide individual and group psycho-education and crisis intervention services under the supervision of an independently licensed mental health professional
Coordinate with the multi-disciplinary team regarding patient care
Develop and coordinate patient discharge/re-entry plans
Obtain relevant treatment records and coordinate care with family members, community providers, and others relevant to the patient\'s care and community re-entry plan
Maintain and update a list of community resources to support the patient\'s transition and re-entry back to the community, including civil commitment procedures, RBHA services, and criminal justice processes
Working Conditions
Must complete a CPR certification during new hire orientation
Must complete an MCSO-HR fingerprint background check
Must be able to work inside a jail environment, consisting of working in close proximity to inmates and other staff and being indoors in a confined area handling multiple or complicated tasks
Requires accuracy, decision-making, and concentration skills to be vigilant in a teamwork environment
Performs a high volume of work under short deadlines or with time pressures to complete frequently changing and unscheduled tasks
