Responsibilities
The MT/MLT contributes to the diagnosis, treatment, and care of patients by the accurate performance and reporting of laboratory testing procedures on blood and body fluids. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development of the life span. The ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and appropriately interpret information relative to the patient's age-specific needs is required.

Qualifications
For MT: Bachelor's degree in a health related field required.
For MLT: Associate degree required. Recent graduate from approved MLT school is minimum experience required. Two to four years experience as medical laboratory technician preferred.
Additional Skills and Qualifications:
Strong organizational skills and problem solving capabilities required. Experience as a Technologist and good computer skills preferred.
