ABOUT THE ROLE:

Reporting to the Director for Technology Strategy, this position is responsible for supporting Technology development activities that are aligned to the overall objectives for innovation and technology strategy. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams across Engineering, Advanced Tech, Business, and Strategic Marketing to coordinate and drive the ideation and development of strategy in order to mature key technologies.

This role is a dynamic position, ideal for someone who is detailed orientated, thrives on challenges and is eager to gain diverse experience. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on various tasks, from running projects, tracking finances to brainstorming innovative solutions.

The candidate will primarily support the development of a Technology Roadmap, working closely with cross-functional teams to define needed technologies and build Technology to Product Roadmaps within a HON reporting tool. The Intern will actively participate in the various continuous improvement projects related to innovation by improving and updating collaboration and communication tools, portal, etc. The ideal candidate will have the ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to enhancing our website and overall operations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

•Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree (or higher) from an accredited college or university in any Engineering discipline.

•Must graduate December 2025 or later.

•Must continue enrollment in degree program upon completion of the internship

•Seeking individual who is actively enrolled or planning to enroll in a Master’s program that is Business or Project Management related.

•Validated academic excellence (3.0 GPA and higher)

•Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the U.S.

WE VALUE:

•MBA students that have completed a bachelor’s degree in science or engineering

•Previous exposure to short cycle & highly innovative technology areas

•Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information across different levels of the organization and externally as needed.

•Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, and who consistently take the initiative to get things done

•Skills in data reduction/management and effective communication through websites, Tableau or other electronic means would be an asset

•Ability to crunch datasets to develop meaningful and insightful conclusions

•Detail orientated and experience in project engineering/management
