We provide training, development and access to real work for a segment of our community.Responsibilities:- Plan, coordinate, organize, and oversee day-to-day operations of Transition Services programs for Individuals with Disabilities including: Day Treatment for Adults (DTA), Transition to Employment (TTE), Career Preparation and Readiness (CPR), Customized Employment (CE), and Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS).- Establish and maintain strong professional relationships with businesses, volunteer organizations, schools, referral sources, funding partners, and others, to further the mission of Beacon Group and to meet program objectives.Supervise Transition Instructors, Customized Employment Specialists, Rehabilitation Techs, and Vocational Instructors.Qualifications:- Experience in working with people with disabilities for at least two years.- Ability to write reports, analyze situations, and develop systems is required.- Must have valid AZ driver's license Provide proof of good driving. Successfully pass a drug screening and background check throughout employment.- CPR/First Aid certification, or able to obtain and maintain a CPR/ First Aid Certification.- Fingerprint clearance card, or able to obtain and maintain a fingerprint clearance card.- Article IX and Prevention and Support certificate or able to obtain and maintain certification.- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel- Proficiency in accurate, clear, and informative case note writing.Essentials Functions:- Work independently and effectively with little direction and use good judgment when making decisions.- Analyze situations accurately and adopt an effective course of action.- Meet schedules and timelines.- Ability to lead and work effectively with people with disabilities, other managers, customers, and the public.- Have excellent interpersonal skills using tact, patience, and courtesy.- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.- Ability to read, interpret, and follow rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.- Work flexible hours and schedules.- Ability to drive and travel independently to various sites.- High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.- Ability to be flexible and work in a team environment.- Ability to use good judgement.- Ability to follow instructions.- Ability to use office equipment.This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, from 7:30am to 4:30pmWe are proud to be an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer qualified females, minorities, disabled persons, veterans and members of the LGBTQ community are encouraged to apply.For more information, or to apply now, you must go to the website below.
