Seeking a progressive HR Leader for our Phoenix, Arizona and Noblesville, IN sites to provide overall HR leadership and direct client support to over 250 Manufacturing & Engineering professionals. As Human Resources Manager, you will play a critical role supporting our purpose and our greatest asset, our people. In this role you will be the first point of contact for our US based People Leaders, providing counsel, coaching and support on HR fundamentals. This role is critical in executing key HR initiatives, collaborating with our HR COE’s to provide available and responsive internal employee support, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvements. This role is located at our Phoenix, Arizona manufacturing site with 10% travel to the Noblesville, Indiana facility.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership, direction, and expertise for the full scope of HR functions at the Phoenix, AZ and Noblesville, IN sites including culture, employee engagement, performance management and talent development, salaried and hourly employee relations, organizational design and effectiveness, and talent acquisition

  • Lead and execute HR related projects in partnership with HR Business Partners and People Leaders, to support organizational and individual development

  • Lead site communication strategy, including a comprehensive communications plan that ensures consistent and continuous leverage communications across the site to foster and informed and motivated workforce.

  • Utilize in-depth knowledge of HR discipline, analytical thinking, and clear & influential communication to execute strategy and drive key HR processes including Total Rewards planning, succession and development, year-end performance reviews and workplace investigations as appropriate

  • Participate as a full member of the site leadership team

  • Partner with site leadership to plan and execute strategies that ensure maximum engagement of human resource capital including resource forecasting and planning, staffing and labor optimization.

  • Lead key HR processes including compensation planning and compliance, and other HR project-based initiatives to support the leadership at the site.

  • Conduct HR related training and support for functional processes such as Performance Management, Talent Deep Dive Discussions, People Reviews, Total Rewards Planning, New Manager Assimilation

  • Assist with other HR special projects or initiatives as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college.

  • Minimum of 5 years professional work in the Human Resources function with client-facing responsibilities including employee/people leader development and performance management.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources

  • GE HRLP Graduate or graduate of a similar program

  • PHR/SPHR certification

  • Experience leading Human Resources in a manufacturing environment; specifically high tech manufacturing

  • Experience working with Workday

  • Experience supporting and implementing Lean methodology, strong problem-solving skills: ability to make independent decisions, manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment. Lead with a lean mindset.
