Job Title: Assembly Technician

Job Description

• Candidates will physically take cars apart using basic tools to send to the technicians for install.
• The prep department is the first stop a vehicle makes when getting up-fitted.
• It is the prep department’s responsibility to prepare sub-assemblies and prepare vehicles by disassembly.
• These prep parts will be determined by the Lead Prep Tech and will derive from the Vehicle Build Sheet.
• This includes, but is not limited to, window bars, TLO boxes, push-bumpers, prisoner door panels, and assembling various products.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in PHOENIX, Arizona.

Work Environment

• American Emergency Products is the combination of four preeminent emergency vehicle upfitters in the Western United States.
• Specializes in custom outfitting of patrol, undercover, battalion command, fire, utility, and construction vehicles.
• Small, tight-knit team of 15 people.
• Interfaces with clients, mostly police officers, requiring high presentability.
• Day shift with a 5AM or 6AM start time.
• Must be willing to work overtime.
• Busy season is November to June, expecting to work 50+ hours and some Saturdays during this period.
