Assist patients to understand their health benefit options and facilitate their enrollment in health benefits
Creates and completes accurate applications for medical assistance programs offered by MPHC
Ensure all support documentation and signatures are included with the eligibility application, as required
Ensures income and other required information is correctly transferred into the Practice Management System and appropriate discount plan is given to all eligible patients
Meets productivity requirements and works with team members to assure efficient use of time and service to the patients
Has a good understanding of the rules and regulations regarding medical assistance programs offered by the organization and promptly applies all changes, as instructed by the department manager
Completes all training offered by the department manager or the health center as approved
