Represent the company to the customer and assumes accountability for customer satisfaction with service. Responsible for customer service activities associated with updating, troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing of highly complex capital equipment for customers. Assure operational quality of system equipment. Coordinate actions with customers to minimize down time. Provide assistance to Installation engineers in resolving problems. Evaluate, analyze, diagnose and troubleshoot technical equipment problems via telephone or at customer site. Ensure equipment enhances customer production. Repair and update equipment at customer facility. Prepares fields service reports on customer support activity and provides documentation on re-occurring problems. Contribute to the Capturing, Re-use, Collaboration, and Improvement of knowledge using available systems. Cross train and assist other field service engineers. Utilize engineering knowledge background. Salary Range: \$92,474-\$152,200 per year.
Position requires: Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Applied Sciences, Mathematics, Optics, Physics, or related field (or foreign equivalent) and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in an engineering-related occupation.
Position requires education or experience with the following:
- Providing customer service reports;
- Semiconductor Tool maintenance;
- Updating, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing highly complex capital equipment;
- Semiconductor fabrication processes;
- Product specific installation; and
- System calibration and alignment.
