Farnsworth Group is seeking a BIM Specialist in our Phoenix, AZ office. In this role, you will be collaborating with our BIM, Engineering and Architecture teams to help maintain and support BIM project files for Process, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing), Structural and Architectural disciplines on Advanced Manufacturing Technology projects.

Job Activities:

  • Manage Autodesk Construction Cloud project data environment and BIM project data sets.

  • Assist in developing and executing project BIM execution plans.

  • Perform quality review checks on multidisciplinary BIM Models for conformance with client and company standards.

  • Ensure LOD meets project requirements

  • Perform clash detection, model coordination, design reviews and issues tracking within the project team, contractors, vendors and owners.

  • Coordinate the use of point clouds and the interface with the design model and federated construction model.

  • Assist in the development of project and company BIM resources (content, libraries, templates, BIM specs etc.).

  • Perform other tasks assigned by an engineering and BIM manager.

  • Create relevant views of buildings for multiple disciplines.

Specific Requirements include:

  • Associates or Technical Degree with a focus in Engineering, Design, Construction or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 5- 10 years of experience with Bluebeam, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Revit, Navisworks, Plant 3D and AutoCAD.

  • Advanced Revit skills required.

  • Autodesk Certified Professional desired.

  • Experience with Dynamo desired

  • Experience working in a fast-paced construction environment required.

  • Excellent communication/organizational skills

  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record required.

  • Ability to work on several multi-discipline projects simultaneously.
