Job Title: Aerospace Assembler (Weekend Shift)
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Aerospace Assembler to join our team for the weekend shift. In this role, you will complete the assembly of engine cowlings and sheet metal components, supporting major clients such as Honeywell, Bombardier, Gulfstream, and Cessna. You will read blueprints and standard operating procedures to assemble built components and parts, use various tools, and perform electric bond checks.
Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints and standard operating procedures to assemble components.
Assemble engine cowlings and sheet metal components using power tools, hand tools, drills, and torque wrenches.
Perform electric bond checks.
Ensure compliance with Honeywell specifications (preferred).
Maintain high standards of quality and safety in all assembly processes.
Essential Skills
2+ years of manufacturing experience in an aerospace environment.
2-3 years of assembly experience.
Experience working with large parts.
Proficiency in using mechanical assembly tools, including power tools and hand tools.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with Commercial or Military Aircraft engines is a significant advantage.
Basic quality verification practices, such as torque settings, electrical bond checks, and dimensional measurements.
Understanding of Honeywell specifications is a plus.
Experience in the automotive or other manufacturing industries is acceptable.
Military experience (Air Force, Army, Marines) is beneficial.

Work Environment
Our facility is located on-site at Honeywell near Sky Harbor Airport. We work in a tight-knit, team-oriented environment following Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement guidelines. The weekend shift hours are Thursday-Sunday, 2:15 PM - 11:45 PM, with initial training on day shifts for a couple of weeks. It is essential to be able to train on days initially.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, Arizona.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00
