Honeywell Advanced Cyber Security Architect in Phoenix, Arizona

As an Advanced Cyber Architect here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing advanced cyber security solutions for our organization. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining the architecture of our cyber security systems, ensuring the highest level of protection for our assets and data. Your expertise will help safeguard our company from potential cyber threats and ensure compliance with industry regulations.

You will report directly to our Senior Cyber Security Product Manager, and you will work out of our Honeywell location in Phoenix, Arizona.

In this role, you will have a significant impact on our organization's cyber security posture. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify vulnerabilities, develop mitigation strategies, and implement cutting-edge technologies to protect our systems and data.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential security vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to support project team members.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security controls and monitor for potential threats.

  • Design and implement advanced cyber product security solutions, including network security, and data encryption.

  • Develop and maintain the architecture of our cyber security systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cyber security trends and technologies and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics and Communications, Engineering, or related field.

  • 3+ years of Cybersecurity experience (Analyst, Network Operations, Secure Software Development)

  • Knowledge of avionics architectures

  • Strong understanding of the hardware development processes and security development lifecycle (SDL)

  • Knowledge of network security protocols, encryption algorithms, and vulnerability assessment tools.

  • Experience in designing and implementing security and safety solutions for complex systems and networks.

  • Excellent risk management and project management skills

  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

We VALUE

  • Industry project management certifications such as Project+ or PMP.

  • Master’s degree in Cybersecurity.

  • Experience with compiled languages such as C/Objective-C, C++, Java, or C#.

  • Experience in aerospace product development, aerospace product architecture, or aerospace development processes such as DO178, DO254, ARP 4754 and ARP4761.

  • Industry cyber security certifications such as Security+, CISSP, CySA+, CISM, CEH, or equivalent.

  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards such DO326A/DO356A.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
