Description We are providing an opening for an Accounts Receivable Clerk in the manufacturing industry, located in Phoenix, Arizona, 85040-3918, United States. The role involves supporting the organization's billing functions and providing financial, administrative and clerical services in an organized and accurate manner.

Responsibilities:

• Process project, service and preventative maintenance invoice billings.

• Verify billing tickets to ensure address and purchase order are correct.

• Review account coding to ensure revenue is being recorded properly.

• Review sales tax calculation to determine amount charged to customer is correct, if applicable.

• Verify and allocate inter-company revenue and deferred revenue as needed.

• Deliver customer invoices timely via email, mail and website upload.

• Process credit card transactions.

• Respond to customer billing questions.

• Review aging reports for delinquent accounts and take appropriate action.

• Review open sales orders to ensure all completed tickets have been billed prior to month-end cutoff. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable role within the manufacturing industry

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience in Billing, Cash Applications, and Cash Collections processes

• Familiarity with Commercial Collections

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP software

• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple accounts

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• High level of integrity and trustworthiness

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is preferred.
