Robert Half Customer Service Representative in Phillipsburg, New Jersey


We are currently seeking a talented Customer Service Representative to join our team and play a key role in supporting our customers and driving business success. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for managing customer inquiries, processing orders, and providing support throughout the order fulfillment process. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a customer-centric approach.   • Receive and respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels in a timely and professional manner.

  • Generate accurate quotes for products based on customer requirements and pricing guidelines.

  • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all necessary information is complete and correct.

  • Coordinate with various departments, including sales, production, and shipping, to ensure timely order fulfillment and delivery.

  • Proactively follow up with customers to provide order status updates and address any issues or concerns.

  • Resolve customer complaints and inquiries effectively, striving to exceed customer expectations and ensure satisfaction.

  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and transactions in our CRM system.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements and enhance the overall customer experience.



  • Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and internal stakeholders.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) preferred.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also independently managing responsibilities.

  • Adaptability and resilience in handling challenging situations and resolving customer issues.

  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and products is a plus, but not required.
