Job Description Summary

Temporary Employee - Non-Exempt

We are seeking an efficient and organized entry-level technician to join our translational research laboratory studying cellular immunotherapy approaches to cancer treatment. Primary duties include assisting with both basic and advanced cellular and molecular biology techniques, including standard vector-based cloning and PCR, cell culture and cell separation assays, viral vector production, cell transfection and transduction, CRISPR/Cas9, flow cytometry, next-generation sequencing and other specified tasks under the direct supervision of a senior scientist and/or postdoc. Research may include small animal sample collection/tissue harvest and animal autopsies. The successful applicant will gather, enter, and analyze data in collaboration with senior scientists and the PI in preparation for dissemination in peer-reviewed publication and conferences.
