The Sr. Business Systems Implementation Analyst is responsible to gather functional requirements including workflows, use cases, business rules and document them in a structured manner.
Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Create new processes/ templates. Work on complex solutions or products and challenging customer programs. Negotiate alternative solutions with Customer and other aspects of a project that impacts schedule, end-users, or internal teams. Conscience about pulling in SMEs to validate big picture and longer-term impact of a solution. Frame up ideas for both customer and internal teams to easily consume. Collaborate with other teams and ensure delivery on a joint timeline. Proactively manage dependencies and raise risks as issues happen with other teams. Establish strong working relationships with clients, clearly understanding their requirements. Quickly understand new technologies and concepts and appropriately apply them to projects. Undertake ad-hoc assignments as required to react quickly and positively to new or emergent situations. Assess problem causes and implications, recommend solutions and costs, encourage shared problem solving, and demonstrate each of these, both internally and externally with clients. Seek technical reviews, second opinions, advice, and coaching in critical areas. Build relationship with client executives and internal stakeholders to manage escalations within the program. Use a proactive rigorous risk identification and mitigation process on an ongoing basis. Communicate challenges/ issues to clients by assessing causes and implication, recommends solutions, estimates costs, and encourages shared problem solving. Communicates effectively to internal management. Establish a consistent communication strategy with the client and defines the associated deliverables (e.g. functional/ technical specifications, testing plans, etc.). Organize, assign, track and follow up on issues across multiple work streams, manages resources to meet established deadlines or escalates in a timely fashion. Possess strong interpersonal skills such as team building, consensus building, and persuasiveness.
Education & Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems Technologies, Information Assurance, Electronics and Communication, or a related field Five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as a Project Manager, ETL Datastage Developer, or a related occupation.
Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: This position requires five (5) years of experience with the following: HIPAA X12 EDI messages or similar experience in data standards for data integration Experience working with JSON or XML files Experience working with Python, Postman, Swagger, GitHub, and WinSCP Previous experience utilizing general database concepts and Integration methods (Real-Ti e and Batch) Experience using JIRA or similar tools Word, Visio, PowerPoint, Excel and SQL expertise Data mapping Familiarity working in an Agile environment Remote work permitted. Approximately 5% domestic travel required, mainly to Northeast or Midwest U.S.
