The work: Your role will require you to directly work with account teams and clients to originate and sell large scale engagements for Accenture Song’s portfolio of services across Marketing, Sales, Commerce, Customer Service and Innovation. You will also be accountable for working with practice specific teams to ensure Accenture’s client value and superior implementation can be delivered front and center.
Here’s a snapshot of your responsibilities:
Collaborate with client account teams and other sales leaders to originate, qualify, shape and close new opportunities for Accenture with our clients in the Energy, Utilities, Chemicals and Natural Resources industries
Be a thought-leader in industry and customer-related challenges, trends, solutions, economics and related qualitative & quantitative aspects
Develop and nurture relationships with the key client stakeholders to become a trusted advisor who brings value to every conversation
Develop strategies for Accenture Song clients by leading teams through analyses to identify opportunities to create value through our work, corresponding business case development and articulation of requirements to implement the strategy
Lead client assessment portion of strategy engagements, develop cohesive conclusions and present key findings at the executive level
Travel: As required for client support.
Location: Primary residency within 90 minutes of an approved Accenture office
Here is what you need:
Minimum of 10 years experience in professional services include originating and selling large-scale digital solutions Fortune 500 clients, including requirements definition and implementation
Minimum of 10 years of client facing experience with demonstrated experience as a pro-active, independent achiever
Minimum 3 years’ experience with Sales and/or delivery of customer-related services (e.g., marketing, sales, commerce, service, innovation)
Bonus points if:
Comfortable carrying a $15M quota
Have been first chair on selling services deals in excess of $10M
Previous experience with closing $10M+ deals involving the areas of significant process change, technology implementations, process outsourcing technology outsourcing in marketing, sales, or customer success
Core sales consulting skills including:
Executive & Digital Leadership Workshop facilitation
Client interviews/focus groups
Run end-to-end sales cycles (origination -> solution -> close)
Have a detailed understanding of the MarTech stack and how to use it
Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
