Macquarie Senior Manager | Leveraged Credit Research Analyst in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Reference #: 12695 Join Macquarie Asset Management Credit as a Credit Research Analyst on our Leveraged Credit Research team based in Philadelphia.  The role is to support the fixed income team in all aspects of high yield corporate bond and leveraged loan credit research.

In this role, you will conduct comprehensive, fundamental research by analyzing industry dynamics, issuer strengths/weaknesses, financial trends, capital structures, and covenants to develop underlying credit and relative value views on high yield bond and leveraged loan investment opportunities.  You will provide buy, sell, and hold investment recommendations to portfolio managers and traders through writing research reports and making presentations and monitor company news releases and filings within assigned industries, updating portfolio managers and traders on events as needed.  Additionally, you will develop relationships with company management teams, sell-side analysts, and others through conducting calls and attending conferences, participate in client marketing presentations and assist in the creation of client requested, credit-oriented documentation and mentor junior credit research staff.

Bachelor's Degree in a related field with 4-10 years' industry coverage experience and desire to pursue (or already possess) CFA In-depth knowledge of financial concepts and leveraged finance investing with a proven ability to successfully analyze financial data Intermediate Level knowledge of Microsoft Office products (specifically MS Excel) and the ability to adapt and learn internal systems and Bloomberg applications Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments on a daily basis Self-starter with ability to work independently and in a team environment.
