Allen Chase Enterprises, Inc. Safety truck Driver Bilingual (English/Spanish) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
No CDL Required.
Allen Chase Enterprises is a contractor who controls vegetation for state DOT's, railroads, power companies and other customers. We are in need of safety truck drivers to shadow our spray trucks along the highways to control traffic while spraying the guide rail. The driver would be operating an arrow board, communicating with the spray truck through a two-way radio about traffic along with controlling the lane of traffic. They would also pre-trip the vehicle to make sure that it was in proper running order each day. And assist with other duties helping the crew.
This is a seasonal position. (April -- October)
Fulltime - 40 +/-
Pay Range - $17-$18 Per Hour.
General Requirements Include:
• Valid driver's license with a reasonably clean MVR.
• DOT card (must obtain after hire within 2 weeks of being hired) * unless already have DOT Card.
• Ability to communicate directions from maps
• Flexible schedule as work is weather dependent.
• Safety oriented.
Preferred Candidates:
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Open to some overnight travel.
