Job Description

AECOM Transportation in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a Project Manager / Construction Manager to manage rail and transit design and construction projects, specifically Amtrak, SEPTA and PATCO projects.

  • Directs and manages the entire project (often various projects simultaneously), provides guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies, and act as the primary liaison between AECOM and clients.

  • Accountable for all facets of the project including their accordance with design, budget and schedule.

  • Overall responsibility and management of project including, but not limited to, budgeting/schedule stage, procurement, through contract closeout.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or similar field and 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

  • Related project management and/or construction management experience within the transportation-related construction industry

  • Due to the nature of work, U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience within the rail / transit industry

  • Professional Engineer (PE), Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

  • Experience with managing multiple projects simultaneously

  • Experience utilizing Primavera P6, MS Project and/or similar project management information software

  • Ability to travel up to 10%

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $100,000.00 - $130,000.00.
