Wolters Kluwer Project & Program Manager – Health Information in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

LOCATION: This role is hybrid 8 days in the office per month. See office locations posted on the requisition.

OVERVIEW

You will manage full life cycle of referential content projects through teams of internal and external personnel and operate according to Agile development principles and product management direction. You will report on project status and progress to management and identify areas of project risk and troubleshoots solutions. You will determine solutions based upon collaboration across teams. You will also assist department leadership in strategic planning of resources and projects. You will provide insight regarding content development efforts based on editorial experience and technical expertise. Finally, you will maintain knowledge of our products suite and systems.

This is an individual contributor role. You will report to the Associate Director, Project & Program Management.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage development and launch of content creation and innovation projects within the referential content department.

  • Support clinical quality assurance review of content development projects.

  • Responsible for completion of project deliverables.

  • Anticipates problems or issues and identifies creative ways to solve problems or mitigate risks.

  • Collaborates in the transformation and review of content transformed between editorial content management system and referential products, embedded and customer datasets, and formularies.

  • Works closely with product development and editorial engineering teams to specifically communicate project needs, track schedules and deliverables, and troubleshoot issues.

  • Provides cross-education among clinical and editorial team members and other teams (e.g., sales, marketing, accounting, and IT).

  • Facilitates project discussions to encourage collaboration and inclusion.

QUALIFCATIONS

Education: Bachelors’ degree (in Science, Health Sciences, Business, or English preferred); or equivalent experience

Experience: Minimum 3 years of project experience with demonstrated project management skills, preferably within healthcare field.

  • Ability to manage projects with overlapping deadlines.

  • Knowledge of medical and pharmaceutical terminology preferred.
