WSP USA Project Finance Administrative Specialist in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

This Opportunity

WSP is seeking a Full-Time Project Finance Administrative Specialist to support our PFA Strategy and Development team. Join Our Team and become an integral member of a dynamic organization that solves client challenges while achieving business objectives.

As a Project Finance Administrative Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation and collaboration between Our Team, Operations and Finance. This position will provide comprehensive financial and administrative support for the Director of PFA Strategy & Development and will work closely with all business lines across the US.

Your Impact

  • Professionalism and Communication: Exhibit high levels of professionalism, communication skills, and positivity when engaging with colleagues, cultivating positive employee engagement.

  • Data Analysis: Assist in compilation and analysis of project and/or financial data from multiple sources for review and submission to Director via Microsoft Excel, including lookups, pivots, advanced formulas, etc.

  • Cost Center Data Management: assist in gathering and combining monthly cost center changes from business lines into required format / template for submission.

  • Financial Reporting: Provide support for financial reports, data tracking, and report generation from accounting system and/or Power BI.

  • Project Support: demonstrate proficiency navigating Oracle Fusion ERP platform with the ability to perform system enhancement testing as required.

  • Administrative Support: Support team/project meetings and ensure smooth coordination of activities at the office or project site and assist senior staff with travel/expense reports.

  • Document Processing: Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications to record meeting minutes, create Excel spreadsheets, Word documents, and PowerPoint presentations.

  • Fast-Paced Environment: Excel in prioritizing tasks under tight deadlines in a fast-paced setting.

  • Team Player: Collaborate strategically and think innovatively to deliver optimal results.

  • Additional Duties: Undertake other responsibilities based on business needs.

  • Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.

Who You Are

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business or closely related discipline with 1 to 3 years of relevant post education experience, or High School Diploma with 7+ years of relevant project finance administration experience.

  • Experience in Project Finance, Financial Analysis, Project Accounting, Project Administration, Project Coordination or Project Controls preferred.

  • Capable self-leadership with attention to detail, accuracy, multi-tasking, and prioritization of responsibilities in a dynamic work environment.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with others, expressing ideas effectively and professionally to an accounting and non-accounting audience.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as part of a team to meet business objectives.

  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills required to apply learned subject matter and technical knowledge to reach conclusions.

  • Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.

  • Proficient with technical writing, office automation and accounting software, technology, math principles, spreadsheets, MS Excel, pivot tables, formulas, data format/sort/filter, and other tools.

  • Occasional travel may be required depending on business needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Oracle preferred (but not required).

Compensation:

Expected Salary (all locations): $57,400 - $94,710

WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, and/or federal law.
