Summary:

  • The Vascular Technologist is responsible for performing all modes of vascular studies, providing physicians with verbal/preliminary reports, conducting daily cleaning/maintenance of machines and scanning areas, assisting in keeping supplies well stocked, providing patient care in a compassionate manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducts ultrasound testing, both in the lab and portable testing. Assists in machine maintenance and cleaning. Assists in keeping patients aware of their study and/or transport status. Assists in helping to keep other technologists aware of patient needs.

Credentials:

  • Amer Reg Diag Med Sonographer (Required)

  • Must obtain RVT credentials/ARDMS registration within one year of date of hire. required.

  • Registered Vascular Technologist (Required)

Education or Equivalent Experience:

  • Associate of Arts or Science

  • Education Specialization:UltrasonographyEquivalent Experience:

  • Other (Required)

  • Education Specialization:Accredited Ultrasonography ProgramEquivalent Experience:•Graduation from an accredited Ultrasound program is required.
