Position Description :

The Department of Orthopedic Surgery specializing in Foot and Ankle is looking to add an Physician Assistant to their team. The PA with provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive health care services and see patients independently for the Foot and Ankle service, as delegated by a physician.

Working as members of the health care team, they will take medical histories, examine and treat patients, order and interpret laboratory tests and x rays, and make diagnoses.

Minimum Requirements :

Master's Degree in Physician Assistant & Graduate of Accredited Physician Assistant training

Program (PA-C)

New to practice or < 2.5 years Exp

Pennsylvania Licensure as a Physician Assistant (PA-C)

National Board Certification by the NCCPA

BLS/CPR, as a healthcare provider as per the American Heart Association


The Physician Assistant must be reviewed by the Credentials Committee and approved by the Medical Board.

Familiarity with Epic preferred

Experience working independently in a healthcare environment
