Position Description :

The Multi-Skilled Electrician's responsibilities include:

• Maintenance, installation, repair, adjustment and operation of electric systems and equipment.

• Tests equipment and performs preventive maintenance on emergency generators, fire alarms, etc.

• When needed, perform repairs and installation of basic Plumbing systems; HVAC systems; Carpentry and Lock repairs; Painting, Patching and Wall Coverings.

Minimum Requirements :

High School graduate or GED is required. 4 years of specialized training or a recognized 4 year apprenticeship course is required. A minimum of 4 years full time electrical experience with a bona fide electrical contractor or employer is required. Experience in Healthcare facilities is desired.

Additional Information :

Must be familiar with National Electric Codes, NFPA and Underwriters requirements and JCAHO codes and requirements.
