Aston Carter Legal Administrative Assistant in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Job Title: Legal Administrative AssistantJob Description

This position involves the operation of a busy mail and copy center supporting a law firm in downtown Philadelphia. The role requires managing copy production, mail processing, conference room, and hospitality set up. The candidate will work in a dynamic environment where they will walk the floors for about 50% of the day and spend the remaining time in the center.

Responsibilities

  • Produce various print jobs with different forms of finishing and binding (GBC, tabs, spiral, velobind, etc.) to meet client specifications

  • Process and deliver mail

  • Set up conference rooms and hospitality arrangements

  • Interact with attorneys and paralegals, providing excellent customer service

  • Manage multiple tasks efficiently, including handling mail, copy jobs, and client inquiries

Essential Skills

  • Copy production experience, especially with complex print jobs involving various binding and finishing requirements

  • Document control

  • Data entry

  • Legal administrative support

  • Paralegal skills

  • Legal support

  • Printing

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience working in a corporate office environment

  • Customer service and communication skills

  • Ability to multitask

  • Experience working within legal environments is a plus

Work Environment

The role is based at 50 South 16th Street, 32nd floor, Philadelphia, PA. Free parking is not available, and most employees use public transportation. The dress code is business casual. The work schedule is Monday - Friday from 9am-6pm with a 1-hour lunch break. The position is temporary with excellent potential to become permanent after 3 months.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00
