Mema's Early Learning Center Lead Teachers and Teacher Aides in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

We are a private childcare center looking for a Lead Teacher and Teacher's Aide in our Infant/Toddler and Preschool Center. Candidates must have a natural love for children and the ability to handle stress. Working as a team player is very important in assuring the success of the children and the program.

Position: Lead Teacher and Teacher Aides
Location: multiple sites
Hours: 7:30am -- 4:30pm or 8:30am -- 5:30pm or 9:00am -- 6:00pm

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children
- On an on-going basis, plan, evaluate and improve the physical environment in the classroom to create opportunities to meet the changing needs of the developing child.
Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum
Foster social, emotional, and cognitive development
Communicate effectively with parents and team members
Maintain cleanliness and organization of childcare spaces
- Complete observations and documentation
Complete small groups with a small number of children
- Maintain up to date forms for children.
Maintain ongoing, open communication with parents/ caregivers.
Occasional field trips
Meal prep
Qualifications:
H.S Diploma / degrees obtained
Available to work Monday - Friday
Previous childcare experience preferred but not required
Willing to obtain Professional Development
Positive attitude and strong communication skills
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
All candidates must pass child abuse clearance, criminal background check, NSOR and FBI clearance as well as current Health Assessment with TB analysis are required as well. References are required upon request. All references will be verified!!
