Reference #: 9300301 PRIMARY FUNCTION: Performs data acquisition, quantitative, qualitative and statistical analysis, and identifies business and clinical implications of assessments. Abstracts information from Electronic Medical Record to compile to patientrsquo;s episodic Transplant record. Provides external entities with required reports to maintain accreditation. Assists with the system planning, implementations, enhancements and on-going support for BMT systems through collaboration with the BMT staff, vendors and IT. Works with members to validate information and facilitate analysis of data in order to support operational and strategic decision making. Provides clinical data to research entities upon request.

This position includes, but is not limited to the following essential functions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Data Analysis and Reporting - Reviews medical record and extracts pre-transplant, peri-transplant, and post-transplant data for reporting to internal and external databases. - Reviews and assesses complex or diverse information from multiple sources - Uses intuition and experience to complement data for thorough analysis. - Provides quality assurance analysis of data entry into database system - Submits data to industry accreditation entities, primarily CIBMTR - Designs reports and systems to identify and resolve accuracy / completeness deficiencies. - Imports and exports data elements from multiple systems for internal use as well as for vendors, clients, and other business entities.

Coordinates program preparation for FACT on site inspection. -Administrative support for Database System maintenance and Integrity. -Acts as primary point of contact between operational database management -Coordinates maintenance and upgrade procedures
