General Job Description: This is skilled heavy-duty vehicle operations work, involving such equipment as earthmoving and roadbuilding vehicles, small mobile equipment with crane attachments of limited flexibility, or compactors with multiple axles or high density. Work is distinguished from the lower-level equipment operations classes by complexity of operator functions performed, which require a substantial degree of coordination. 

The Requirements are as follows: 

Possession of a valid class "A" commercial driver's license (CDL) and one year of experience operating a vehicle or equipment requiring a Class "A" CDL.

OR

Possession of a valid class "B" commercial driver's license (CDL) and two years of experience operating a vehicle or equipment requiring a Class "B" CDL.

Possession of a valid Class A or B -- Commercial Drivers License (CDL) issued by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is required. You must submit a copy of your valid Class A or B-CDL to be approved. You must provide your license each time you apply for an exam. The Office of Human Resources does not retain copies of licenses.
