ARAMARK Food Service Supervisor - Chestnut Hill Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

This pivotal role will help coordinate and lead the day-to-day operations, assisting to oversee staff, serving as a positive role model with teammates, and helping where needed. We can?t wait to see your professional growth, all while igniting your passion and pursuing what matters to you.

Location: Temple Health at Chestnut Hill Hospital

We are hiring multiple full-time positions to work one of the following shifts: 5:00am-1:30pm, 9:00am-5:30pm, or 11:00am-7:30pm.

Job Responsibilities

? Supervise and evaluate employees; counsel; providing counsel and/or training as needed; promote employee growth, efficiency, morale, and teamwork.

? Maintain food production that ensures the safety and quality of food according to policies, procedures, and department requirements. Ensures that food items are stored in a safe, organized, and hazard-free environment.

? Train/mentor other food service workers.

? Maintain all serving schedules; ensure that all food items are served per menu speciation's in a safe and appropriate manner following Aramark policies and procedures.

? Maintain a sanitary department, following health and safety codes and regulations.

? Maintain accurate inventory on a weekly basis.

? Ensure all food safety/temperature logs are completed with appropriate corrective action, as necessary.

? Perform preventative maintenance checklist.

? Perform other duties as requested by the Food Service Director or Manager whenever his/her skill and/or experience would be vital to initiate, coordinate, or complete any given program.

? Be able to work occasional night and weekend catered events.

? Maintain regular communication with staff (including office staff, e-mail, phone calls, inter-office mail, etc).

Qualifications

? Strong organization skills and attention to detail

? Experience with positively mediating interpersonal situations

? Customer-focused with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain emotional control in stressful situations

? Must complete a sanitation course either before or during first year of employment

? Knowledgeable in operating an efficient cost-effective program.
