Reference #: 9310844 54050E Verifying benefits and eligibility for financial determination on all OR and cosmetic procedures by contacting both medical and dental insurance plans for every patient. Once benefits are determined, compile a detailed letter to advise patient of their financial responsibility prior to procedure. Contact patient and assist in payment arrangements / payment collection at least 7 to 10 days prior to scheduled procedure. Adheres to Corporate Compliance Guidelines
Demonstrates knowledge and compliance with the Hospital Safety and Infection Control policies as required by OSHA and the Patient Safety Program.

Verify benefits / eligibility requirements for all OR and cosmetic procedures by contacting both medical and dental coverage for every patient. Submit predetermination of benefits to dental insurances (for any procedures costing more than $300) for all implants and bone grafts. Obtain necessary precertification and referrals for all OR and cosmetic procedures. Compile a detailed letter to advise patient of estimated financial responsibility prior to procedure. Contact patient and assist in payment arrangements / payment collection at least 7-10 days prior to procedure. Communication with OMFS Residents with respect to all Inpatients who are scheduled for extractions in the OR. Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the core values of the Hospital.

Associates Preferred
Experience: Preferred at least 3 years experience in a high volume surgical office. Proficient in Microsoft word, excel and power point. IDX and ORSOS preferred. at least 3 years
