Nobis Works EPA Mailroom Laborer (Pending Contract Award) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Job Descriptions:
Position Summary
Under the supervision of the Nobis Supervisor, this position will follow clearly detailed specific procedures in completing several repetitive steps performed in a prescribed or slightly varied sequence, such as setting up conference rooms by the requested style configurations, emptying trash and recycling bins, cleaning tables and chairs in the conference room, setting up cubicles with partitions, chairs, waste, and recycle cans and keys. Little or no subject-matter knowledge is required, but the Material Coordinator/Laborer uses their own judgment in choosing the proper procedure for each task.
Job Functions and Responsibilities
Check all appointment books for the list of meetings scheduled daily.
Set up conference rooms by the requested style configuration.
Empty trash and recycling bins from the 16th floor down to the 2nd floor.
Clean tables and chairs in the conference rooms.
Set up cubicles with partitions, chairs, waste, and recycle cans and keys. Sometimes file cabinets for manager’s office.
Reconfigure the EAC for parties and special events.
Handle various materials.
Pick up moving boxes with office supplies and take items to office area.
Unpack vehicle and bring the items to office area when applicable.
Assist security officer and office manager with office tasks.
Handles miscellaneous tasks according to the contract.
Assist PIC with supplies as needed.
Escort outside service technicians and vendors to appropriate equipment or EPA department as needed.
Perform general duties under the direction of the COR via FMSB work order form.
Required Experience:
Required Experience and Qualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalent; or any combination of experience education or training that would provide the level of knowledge, skill and ability required.

Must pass drug screen and federal background check.
Eligibility to work in the United States.
