The work we do here matters.Department OverviewThe CommandCentral software team helps solve for safer by focusing on building public safety solutions that combine the capabilities of the entire software suite into a single, user-centric workflow, enabling public safety agencies to efficiently manage data across their operations.Job Description About the Role: The role is critical in revolutionizing how systems interact with emergency services, ultimately saving lives and improving community safety. This role will lead the strategy and execution for integration into our CommandCentral software platform for public safety, streamlining communication and coordination between dispatchers, first responders, and other relevant personnel, improving response times and overall efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy aligned with business objectives.
Oversee the design, development, and implementation into Motorola's market leading CommandCentral emergency response ecosystem
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., engineering, product, sales) to ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
Lead the technical evaluation and selection of integration technologies and tools.
Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation.
Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Provide mentorship and guidance to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge of the alarm industry
Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scope, milestones, and deliverables.
Monitor project progress and address potential risks and issues proactively.
Build relationships with industry stakeholders to maintain an understanding of trends, needs and requirements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or another related field, or equivalent career experience.
10+ years of experience in system integration and security technologies.
Proven track record of leading successful integration projects.
Strong technical expertise in network protocols, data communications, and security systems.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication skills - both verbal, presentation and written
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills and ability to build consensus among stakeholders
Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team in a fast-moving environment
Strong ability to take complex requirements and distill them into a format that is intuitive and clear to developers as well as non-technical staff
Ability to research and analyze requirements from various stakeholders
Proactive, enthusiastic attitude toward challenging problems
Align with the enhanced focus on prioritizing and developing important aspects of mission critical products, such as availability, reliability, and stability
Experience utilizing product and project management tools such as Aha!, Jira, and DevOps
Technical skills and knowledge of cloud services and development
Note: Candidate can reside anywhere in the US.
