About the role
As a CBRE CAD Designer, you will design and prepare electronic working plans, maps, and drawings for small to medium-scale projects.
This is a hybrid role with about 3 days onsite in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania and 2 days work from home.
What you’ll do
Prepare prints of various original plans and records for internal and external agency use. Review updated various drawings for changes, using computer-aided drafting techniques.
Gather data to complete drawings by visiting the site directly. Conduct surveys of space and prepare detailed reports.
Assist with the development of maps and drawings that are spatially accurate and technically correct.
Point of contact for internal and external partners to acquire details of projects, including equipment, materials, and codes.
Collect on-site information and input into database to maintain current building conditions and data.
Have some knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience in applying them.
Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
Impact the quality of own work.
Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
Exchange straightforward information, asks questions, and check for understanding.
What you’ll need
Associate’s Degree preferred with up to 3 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
AutoCAD 2018 or newer version required.
Knowledge of CAD standards “AIA & ISA” preferred.
Understanding of Arch/MEP drawings and systems preferred.
General Revit knowledge nice to have; not required.
Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mentality.
