Aerotek is immediately hiring a Batch Operator located in Philadelphia, PA. We are seeking candidates with previous batch processing/ granulation experience and forklift experience in a Manufacturing or GMP production facility

Description:

Working in a manufacturing environment/production facility to mix and blend raw powdered materials to create stabilizers for flexible PVC (plastic).

-Developing chemicals for production processes of specialty & niche chemicals for packaging, construction & agricultural industries.

-Leading producers of polymer additives, world market leader in the field of PVC stabilizer products

Responsibilities:

Load bags of raw material onto loading hopper, cut bag open & dump

General duties- picking up trash, doing paperwork, making boxes, operating forklift to organize, cleaning/housekeeping, using vacuum system to clean

Forklift experience preferred material is palletized and transported and staged

Follow batch records, operating mixing machines

NEED to have reliable transportation

PPE given - uniform jumpsuits, safety glasses, gloves, aprons, steel toe boots required

Must Have:

• Ability to work OT

• Material Handling

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs

• Good attendance

Schedule: (Full Time) 3rd Shift 9pm-5am (Must be willing to train on 1st shift 4-6 weeks, 5am-1pm)
