The Fleet Vehicle Mechanic is responsible for:
The accurate and timely repair and maintenance of Club Fleet owned vehicles and customer vehicles, including passenger vehicles and light and medium-duty trucks
This includes but is not limited to: engine repair, gas and diesel, automatic transmission/ transaxle diagnosis and repair, manual transmission/transaxle diagnosis and repair, suspension and steering diagnosis and repair, brakes diagnosis and repair, including ABS/traction control, electrical diagnosis and repair, heating and air conditioning diagnosis and repair, engine performance diagnosis and repair.
Complete all paperwork, including, repair information on work orders, information for state and emission inspections, etc., with accuracy
Verify repairs are properly completed by re-testing repaired system to ensure proper function and road tests vehicles, as necessary, to identify concerns or validate repair.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of specialized skills, and continue to develop additional technical skills, to enable flexibility in work assignments.
Other duties as assigned.
What will you bring?
High school graduate or equivalent, and 3+ years applicable experience as an Automotive Technician strongly preferred.
National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) in at least 3 categories or the equivalent Manufacturer Certification and experience with the ability to attain the required certifications within 12 months of hire.
Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
Satisfactory pre-and post-employment screening results, including criminal, drug and motor vehicle screening and passing a physical examination required by the Department of Transportation.
Proficient knowledge with PC-based automotive computer equipment and software applications.
Ability to operate passenger vehicles and light- and medium-duty trucks with automatic and manual transmissions
