Teacher Job Description:

In this position, you will be responsible for supervising children PREK 3-5 years, bringing lesson plans to life, proactively preparing lesson materials, and maintaining classroom tidiness. S/he works collaboratively with an auxiliary teacher, family members, administrative staff, and other team members to achieve positive outcomes for children of all abilities.

The successful candidate must enjoy working with children and be devoted to building a nurturing and safe learning environment. To excel in this role, you must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as in-depth knowledge of classroom activities and teaching methods.

Teacher Responsibilities:

• ? Routine is critically important for a healthy learning environment. Candidates must be able to work within the parameters of the class schedule.
• ? Providing care for children, such as setting schedules and routines, grooming, feeding, changing soiled clothing, and cleaning rooms and toys.
• ? Proactive preparation by getting materials ready and setting up equipment.
• ? Revise lesson material with students individually or in small groups.
• ? Ensure the classroom environment is safe and clean.
• ? Oversee students during non-classroom times including in-between classes and during lunch.
• ? Prepare and serve meals and monitor children during lunchtime.
• ? Complete daily documentation records for attendance, meals, health checks, parent communication and other records related to childcare.
• ? Collaborate with lead teachers to recognize the issues students are facing and recommend solutions.
• ? Document student progress and communicate with parents to keep them informed.
• ? Comply with state, school, and class rules and regulations.
• ? Attend all training classes, parent conferences, and faculty meetings.
