TRANCASA USA INC Traffic Controller in PHARR, Texas
Our international company is looking for a Traffic Controller to ensure through inspections that the correct material was sent to its final destination.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for taking data (truck, trailer, truck, and trailer plate, driver's name, customer name) of all units and loads entering and leaving the yard.
- Verify that the customer's documentation carrying the truck matches the load before it is departed. Visually inspects the physical conditions of the box and reports anomalies to your superior.
- Enter box record in Inventory Excel file yard.
- Check at the end of the shift physical inventory of boxes and reconcile with Excel inventory.
- Receives documentation from traffic coordinators and sends information to monitoring to receive authorization from
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Proactive and able to work with no supervisin
- Organizational skills
- Must be able to work in variable temperatures outdoors (below freezing to over 100 degrees)
- Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions (rain, wind, humidity, direct sunlight, etc) in various geographical locations
- Must be able to lift and carry 50+ pounds regularly unassisted
- Must be able to reach, bend, stoop while performing work
- Must be able to climb into and out of equipment (cars, vans, trucks, trailers, etc)
- Must be able to operate or work around heavy equipment and machinery
